About Patrick (and Pascal)

Adopted By Mary

Patrick and Pascal MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Pascal here.

There were three little kittens. The third, Simon, looked just like Pascal. Pascal and Patrick (Paddy) were so bonded they went home together. All three were wary of new humans but friendly. The two brothers went to a glorious huge home in the Oakland Hills. We had discussed with their family that they should keep them in one room until they felt safe in the home and safe with their new humans. Instead, they were let out in the huge house right away. A very bad idea. Almost all new cats need to start in a smaller space – one room ideally- where their food consumption and litter habits can be easily watched, and petting and play can be established.

To our surprise, almost a year later, we were asked to take this gorgeous pair back since their family never petted them and basically only saw them on the many house cameras, romping around at night. The boys were super stressed when they arrived, and we were very concerned for them. We knew Simon was very happy with his family.

Pascal is an exceptionally beautiful, sweet, and adorable cat. He is a gentle, loving, big boy. He is more outgoing with strangers than Paddy is. “Seal” is the word that describes the rich, dark brown color on his face, ears, and tail. As a “Bicolor cat,” he has an inverted white “V” on his nose and seal coloring on his “saddle” or back, while his bib, legs, feet, and tummy are a snowy white. Of course, his eyes are a beautiful blue which, along with his pink nose, are just perfect.

Paddy, even as a shy one-month-old kitten, was the sweetest and most gentle of the three. He is a Bicolor Maine Coon with grey and white colors. His pink nose in his white face is perfect coloring also. Paddy is still growing larger since Maine Coons continue to grow into the middle of their third year. Despite his size, he is a baby kitty- Do you know what I mean? He wants to cuddle and be kept safe. Actually, Pascal is much the same. These boys are unusually tender.

The photos show how bonded they are. It’s amazing. They both climb on top of each other and are a delight to watch. Their new family must be patient and give them time to relax and trust their humans. Ragdolls are so mellow they need a quiet, peaceful home with no noisy kids, loud music, or barking dogs. Maine Coons can take chaos better.

They will share their love for each other with you. Some family will be so lucky to have their company.

They eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect.

Pascal is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pets and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Pascal (and Patrick), please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com. If you are unable to reach Harriet, please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children to bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
