Born ~6/26/2009, F, Black and White Persian
This story begins in Arizona. A woman concerned that her life expectancy was short brought her five 8 year old Persians and Himalayans to a shelter. Purebreds learned about them, by chance, only after they had been there a long two months. Transporters (love them) brought them up to a temporary foster and ultimately to me. I have not had them long. The kitties names are: Stephanie the only Himalayan, Louie a male cream Persian, Pandora, a black and white female Persian, and Billy a white male Persian. A fifth Persian, a red and white male named Rudy has been adopted already. These are wonderful, loving, somewhat traumatized kitties. I expect they will be adopted quickly.
This little cow kitty is adorable. She is smaller than the others in the Arizona Collection. She has been shaved also and in some photos you can see her shaved legs with “pantaloons” on the bottom. She pretty much hates the camera and predictably scowls for me. I let her smell it – it doesn’t help. She is otherwise outgoing and solicits attention but she has an underlying annoyance at the way her life has been going. I expect she has some of the diva in her. “I am not a toy!!” she says. “Don’t carry me about unless I ask you to.” Maybe because she is so small and cute she has been hauled about too much by humans so now she wants a change.
She loves to play with feathers and with my camera cord. We are going to try separating her from her companions and see if she prefers that. She is the one that is particularly glad Stephanie has moved out. Pandora would like a home that wants to pamper her and bow to her wishes and place her on pillows and fuzzy cat beds. She is companionable with gentle cats but might prefer to be the only pet in the home and get all the love in the world.
She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
