About Paige

Born ~2/1/2022, F, DSH Black Mackerel Tabby

Adoption Fee $100

Hi! I’m Paige, a 16-month-old, VERY cute black mackerel tabby girl with a thick velvet coat, and mom says I am a big girl. My hobbies include

1) Amateur wrestling with my foster mates

2) Running full speed through the room

3) Paraphrasing the birdies

4) Eating lots of yummies

and

5) Hogging ALL the pets!

I’m sweet with a touch of sass and kind of like to play hard to get with new people. I’ll chirp at you and rub on the blankets of the kitten room, but when you come to pet me, I get all bashful and shy away. You see, I’m coming from the riverbed where my littermates and I were abandoned and where it was hard to trust others, so I take some time to come around. But don’t worry, because my energetic, playful side will reveal itself in no time if you are patient! And did I mention my good looks? I’m looking for a somewhat calm home with people who have the patience to allow me the time I need to become comfortable with them.

Mom says I would do best with a kitty friend or two who enjoy playing with someone who loves a good match, and while I may be slow with getting to know you, I promise, once I know you, I will be your bestest friend ever!

My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eat wet and dry food, and am litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!

I currently live with my foster family in Sacramento.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you’re my perfect adopter, please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com. If you are unable to reach Dayna, please email info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children to bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
