About Nod
Adopted by Evelyn
Born ~07/15/2016, Male, Red Tabby Maine Coon Mix
Of the three tiny red long haired kittens I took into foster only this one turned out to be male. I thought I would have three little red brothers since red tabby girls are rare. Well, this boy is all boy! You can see it in his face even now. He is only 8 weeks and still very small. His eyes have not yet turned their final color. He is a baby. But oh what a mischievous play machine he is. Open the door to his room and he zooms out. Yaaay Let’s run!! Everywhere!
He is wonderful. He is sweet as all the red boys are sweet at any age. He is a confident boy, happy to rest in your arms when he has run himself into tiredness.Nod is kitten friendly and needs another kitten to play with. He is still small ( 2.5 pounds ) so I have no idea how he would be with dogs. I would think he would be fine with children over 4 feet tall. I said that because he needs to be protected while he is so young and goofy, curious and playful. He is a tiny treasure who will grow into a great big red Coon character. Look at his beautiful white eyeliner. He certainly has a striking face.
Nod eats wet and dry food and is litter box prefect.
He is neutered and will be ready to go home about the end of September though he can be adopted and reserved prior to that.
His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or toharrietjane@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
