Born ~8/26/17, M, Bronze Spotted Egyptian Mau Mix
Here is a beautiful little boy. He has spots everywhere except under his white chin. He is a lovebug, a very sweet little boy. Right now his great joy in life is running. His body is growing long, lithe, and sleek. He is built to run. Egyptian Maus are actually the fastest runners of any breed in the domestic cat world; the web says some have reached speeds of 30 mph. Mouse is just a kitten but already you can see what an athlete he is. Maus have eyes that are generally a green color as you can see in the two last internet photos of Maus which I included at the bottom of Mouse’s photos. Mau kitten eyes actually change color as they become mature adults, most turning a green color. Mouse at nine weeks old when these photos were taken is too young to show his adult eye color. Egyptian Maus are good, loyal family cats. They are highly intelligent, playful throughout their whole life, and an unusually healthy breed.
Mouse came to me from a friend who has already brought me four Egyptian Mau mix kittens. (Guinness and Maggie, Keegan and Corrie, both pairs adopted). There is talk of a not neutered Egyptian Mau male out in their neighborhood. I have included at the bottom of Mouse’s bio some photos of Egyptian Maus from the internet for comparison. Mouse looks like a Mau kitten but, as is often the case, we cannot know for sure. He is certainly is a beautiful, healthy, happy and loving kitten. Mouse and his brother Mickey are both very very affectionate human loving kittens. Some family will be so lucky. Mouse cannot be separated from his brother Mickey. They are very bonded and must go to their new home together.
Mouse eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
