About Monkey

Adopted by Angela

Born ~4/14/17, M, Black Siamese Mix Kitten

OK black kitten lovers, we finally have a little black treasure for you on our kitten page. And, What a beauty he is! With his long, slender body and super long tail, he stands out as a silhouette as he plays. He is a visual pleasure. His short very black hair glistens in the light- you can see the shine in some of the photos. He is so healthy and so very lithe and athletic, he is a delight to watch. I love his expressive curling, waving long tail. Look at his big, round, gold headlight eyes.

His mother was a blue eyed Siamese/ Ragdoll mix. She gave birth to him and brother, Dweezill, in her foster home. Blue eyed Siamese females who mate with a non blue eyed males produce mostly black kittens. Monkey is a good example. We saw him being born and he has grown up with lots of love. Right now, as most kittens are , he is totally into playing – he is all about movement. When he is tired he will settle in with you for some petting. If you wiggle a feather for him he will love you forever. If you hold him he will soon ask to be put down so he can play some more. If you give him catnip he is exultant.

Ideally Monkey would like to go home with his black and white, big brother, Dweezill. They have been play buddies forever. Some family will have such fun with him. He is like a walking sculpture. And he is such a good-natured, nice guy.

Monkey eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
