Meet Minu; a gorgeous lynx-point Ragdoll kitty who is a true queen. Although she is an older kitty, her captivating blue eyes and fluffy soft coat make her look like an adorable kitten. She likes to perch in higher spots and her favorite is a windowsill where she can enjoy the sunshine and watch all the activity.
Minu is living in a foster home with other kitties and cat-savvy dogs. She is tolerant of the other animals and seems to enjoy watching them and will take her meals with the other cats. As a true regal cat, however, she keeps more to herself. She will come running when her foster mommy comes home and will offer a quick greeting but she is still learning to trust and become comfortable; not yet ready for snuggles.
Minu was owner surrendered due to a change in living circumstances and before that lived with her original owner for 7 years. This beautiful girl is looking for a permanent home where she can truly relax and be treated like the Ragdoll queen that she is. Part of being a regal kitty is to have delicious canned food served in a pretty bowl with lots of praise. Minu likes to take her time eating and like a true foodie she likes to visit her bowl several times a day. We don’t know her past history but can guess that she was probably left to fend for herself with mostly dry food. She needs to be fed her favorite Weruva flavors and have plenty of Nulo hairball tiny bite kibble as well as hairball treats.
Minu was very grumpy at first most likely because she was having tummy troubles. Once she got to eat some grass from outside she threw up a palm-sized hairball and has been improving ever since. Because she loves outside she should be taken out only on her harness and leash. She might have been an outdoor kitty at one time but she needs to live indoors and enjoy the sunshine only in a catio or on a leash.
Minu needs someone who will give this precious queen all the praise and doting that she craves; someone who will be patient as she relaxes and learns to believe she is finally in her forever home. She is litterbox perfect but resistant to grooming so nail cutting requires lots of treats. She is currently living with her foster family in Novato including two teenage boys who she likes to follow around.
