About Mimi
Hang On…
Mimi was picked up in San Jose. She was not wanted and was paying the price for it. She was dreadfully thin, had runny eyes and sneezed nonstop. As if that was not enough, she also had a terrible ringworm infection. The saddest part was she was lactating and was full of milk and looked like she had recently given birth. She had been taken away from her kittens and we have no idea why. Needless to say, she was lethargic and very sad.
She was immediately taken to a vet for a thorough examination. The vet indicated she had indeed just had kittens, along with a host of other maladies to be treated. Considering everything Mimi, was a trouper as she was poked and prodded. Such a sweet girl throughout. She was put on a variety of meds and is feeling so much better now! She is still being treated for ringworm but we suspect that will be gone soon.
Mimi is a British Shorthair and quite the little character. She is now the Office Manager at her foster home! She dances on the keyboard and chases the pointer all over the computer screen. She will sometimes look under and behind the monitor to try and catch it. Mimi is very curious and really has her nose into everything! She is as sweet as can be and loves people. Mimi was spayed recently and will soon be ready for her new forever home.
Life isn’t always easy, but if one keeps a certain attitude, it is usually interesting, and even a rough patch is easier to endure if one can think of it as merely a passageway to something else. By the time any of us met Mimi she had already been rejected by her owners had been ripped from her babies and her health was on the line. Yet she kept her eyes, her ears, and her heart open and found a safe haven with PPCR until she is ready for her new home and a bright new future!
