Born ~11/25/2019, M, Maine Coon Mix
Mel was born 11/25/2019. Mel is a male, Maine Coon mix, little boy kitten.
Mel came into rescue on 12/22 and weighed just 1 pound 7 ounces. Even before Christmas at rescue, you would think he weighed a least 2 pounds but no, he is all fluffy fur. He looks like a little puff ball romping across the floor. Mel has very thick, long ear tufts and ear ticks. His fur is long and thick as Maine Coon’s are.
Mel will look at you with mournful, sad green eyes. When he was rescued he seemed to relish the fact that he did not have to live in the wet and cold anymore.
Mel loves his new foster home and is learning to play and be a real kitten. He quickly welcomed his foster mom’s care even when she was giving him his first bath. Mel is growing and eating like a trooper. Mel is quiet, yet attentive and playful. Mel is not too sure he likes doggies. Mel is afraid of his foster mom’s little doggie even though she ignores him.
Mel will be ready for his furever home about the 3rd week of January. He will come to you fully vetted: chipped, altered, vaccinated and wormed.
Mel would love to be your kitty friend and would be so grateful for being part of a loving family. Mel is fostered in West Sacramento.
Please contact his foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org or 916 206-6525. It you are seriously interested in this kitty it s a good idea to fill out an adoption application on our website, Purebredsplus.org.
