Marigold

Marigold is a quirky, shy little girl. This is a kitten who will require patience and would do best in a home with another cat to bolster her confidence. She is very sweet but has a heightened “flight response”. Any small change in the room and she runs like her tail is on fire to dive under the nearest piece of furniture large enough to hide her. Often she is just a lump under the comforter on the bed. Her foster family doesn’t see her much except she does get brave at meal times and will enjoy being pet while she eats. She also sleeps on the bed with her foster mom, climbs up onto her tummy and purrs and gently nibbles her fingers while getting pets. She is not your typical cuddly kitten, but she absolutely adores the adult cats in her foster home and gets along very well with all of them. And lately she has been sliding onto the couch and snuggling with her foster dad in the evenings. He is usually surprised to find her tucked in at his elbow, not even noticing when she appeared. She is a stealthy little ninja kitten.

Marigold will require a special home, preferably with another cat. A quiet single or couple would be ideal, preferably without children. She has been spayed, microchipped and tested negative for FELV and FIV.
