Adopted by Raj
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat though our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.
Margot is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with her current owner in Alameda. Adoption fee applies. Find out more about Owner Placement Cats.
Margot is truly an elegant, exquisitely beautiful black ‘house’ panther. She has an extraordinary shiny coat that is soft as velvet and smooth as silk. Her luminous green eyes are mesmerizing and will captivate your heart. She is currently be cared for by her foster who has this to say about her:
Margot appeared as an unhomed cat with her litter of four kittens. She was trapped for spay and to assess her personality for possible adoption. Turns out she is a very sweet, friendly cat.
Margot is a lovely, gentle cat who found herself on the street with her four kittens. Despite being outdoors with her kittens, she was extremely clean and not skittish, leading her finder to believe she had people and was either put out or left behind. She was initially trapped for spaying and possible release or adoption, depending on her temperament. Turns out that, although she was hesitant for the first few days, she is a very sweet, loving cat. She purrs when she has her neck scratched, enjoys pets and makes biscuits. She is still settling into her foster home, so we believe even more of her lovely personality will show itself. She appears to be very interested in other cats, calling back to them when she hears them meow. She has been exposed to male cats and indicated a desire to interact. She has not been exposed to other female cats given her very recent spay and the desire to hold off on stressing anyone while her body processes the hormones from both having kittens and the spay surgery.
She is a small cat, weighing about 8 to 9 pounds, although in her photos it may not appear that way. She is long and lean, but I expect her to fill out a bit with some regular feeding. Her coat is luxuriously soft and it seems to shimmer in the light. She has just recently started engaging in interactive play, although she has not played on her own. She is a bit cautious, but that may fade with additional time in foster care. She’s been through a lot of changes recently, so her hesitation at new things is understandable.”
Margot’s adorable striped tabby kittens, Wilbur and Audrey, are also available and can be found on our website.
The standard adoption fee is $175.
Margot is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet food, eats dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her owner in Alameda.
Purebreds Plus Cat rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
