Hi Everyone, I’m Mango!
I am a 2 month old Orange & White Maine Coon kitty. My real Mom is a beautiful ginger Maine Coon kitty named Tanya. My foster Mom and Dad named her that because she came from Russia! Pretty cool, huh? She used to belong to a cat breeder but got rescued from there right before me and my brothers and sisters were born. I was only a few days old when all of us went to live with our foster Mom and Dad in Rancho Murieta.
Well, my kitty Mom and my foster Dad and Mom took real good care of us, and we all became healthy, happy kitties. And guess what? We are now ready to venture out into the world and find our forever homes!
My foster Mom and Dad say I’m the Alpha kitty of the group. Not sure what that means but I can tell you that I was the 1st to do everything! I opened my eyes first, I left the comfy bed we were all in before the other guys did and I was the first to eat solid food (yum!).
When we all came out of our special room for the first time, I was the one who went up to the other kitties and the big Golden Retriever doggie that live here and introduced myself. I told them all “Hi, I’m Mango and I’m the boss, so don’t bug me!” They all said “Ok”, and we have all become friends.
They have some pretty cool things here at my foster home. Lots of toys everywhere that I play with, kitty trees with platforms, little houses and hammocks to play and nap in and this funny flap on a door that leads out to room where all the big kitties go to use the sand box. I saw a big kitty go through there so I decided I would follow. Pretty cool! Now I taught my brother and sisters to go through that flap too. Just the other day I noticed another one of those flaps on window, and watched a big kitty go through. Well I followed him and found a really cool kitty cat patio outside of the house where we all can go to get some sunshine and fresh air. Again, I showed my brothers and sisters how to go through there as well.
I learned early to use the litter box and I never make a mistake. I’m pretty sure I will become a big Maine Coon guy over the next few years, and so I like to have dry kitty food and fresh water available whenever I want and a good plate of wet food in the evening.
I am fostered in Rancho Murieta, CA (Sacramento Area).
So, if you are interested in providing love, safety and a happy healthy home to a cool Maine Coon kitty, then I’m your guy!
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
