About Mama Pearl (and Baby Ivory)

Adopted by Peter and Lisa

Mama Pearl and Baby Ivory MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Baby Ivory here.

Hi, my name is Pearl and I’m an Egyptian Mau. You can see how beautiful I am with my gorgeous spots and stripe pattern around my
eyes and my beautiful gooseberry green eyes. You will fall in love just looking at me. Within the cat family, I am more dog-like, so I
require a lot of attention and play time to keep me happy. Therefore, I may not be the right cat for every home. I also want you to
understand that I was a young mother and my daughter, Ivory, and I must be adopted together.

If you haven’t heard of the Egyptian Mau before, let me tell you just how special I am. We are elegant, spotted cats who may date back to the cats of ancient Egypt. We are known for our athleticism and fast reflexes. We are one of the few naturally spotted cat breeds in the world and are affectionate, intelligent, curious, friendly and interactive with our family members. Within the family, we may form a
strong bond with one select person. We We are expressive cats, and when we’re happy, we perform a unique tail wiggle that can be surprising if you’ve never seen it before. We make wonderful additions to homes willing to make us an integral part of the family.

The best home for us would be an adult home or possibly one with very respectful children. But, please, no other cats.

Mama Pearl is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Elk Grove.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Mama Pearl (and Baby Ivory) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Nancy Flora at gogirlnancy0517@gmail.com or 916.761.1929. If you are unable to reach Nancy Flora please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
