About Madeline
Born ~ 3/17/18, F, Brown/Black Tabby Maine Coon Mix
Madeline was found in of all places a car engine! Yes, a lady was picking her daughter up at school when Madeline ran out of the car engine from the car in front of her.
Did Madeline travel a ways under the hood? We will never know. Unable to keep Maddie, she surrendered her to the vet clinic where the foster mom works. All kittens are pretty cute, but nothing could have prepared us for what we beheld when we opened the carrier and saw her for the first time. OH, MY GOODNESS! What an absolute doll! As you can see from the photographs, Maddie is just too cute for words–a soft, fluffy fuzz ball of a kitten weighing in at less than one pound upon arrival in rescue.
She is brown\black tabby with exquisite large oval gold eyes. It is hard to say how big she will be but she is quite strong and muscular at her young age. Her coat is filling out and is soft and silky.
Maddie was very shy and timid when we first started handling her, but it didn’t take long for her to begin to enjoy human companionship. She is already blossoming into a real lover and will purr when you pick her up. Brown/She enjoys the company of all her kitten buddies and would do well in a household with another gentle kitty. She will do best in a quiet, calm home with humans who will love and cherish her.
Madeline is spayed, tested, vaccinated and ready for adoption.
She is fostered in Davis, CA.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
