About Luna

Born ~11/27/2021, F, Snowshoe

Luna is a beautiful snowshoe with amazing markings. She has brown circles around her eyes like a racoon and beautiful blue eyes, which are sometimes crossed. Her short coat is very easily managed.

Luna has a wonderful personality, she is the perfect amount of feisty and sweet. She plays hard, chasing balls or mice. She loves her kitty tree and to lay in a ray of sunshine. She also goes crazy over the huge pieces of paper that come in the chewy delivery. She will cuddle up with you when she’s ready for love. If you have an electric blanket, she will be your best friend.

She eats both wet food (twice per day) and dry food. Wet is her favorite and she will come running when she hears the can open, then races to her feeding spot.

Luna is fairly quiet and will only really chirp when she knows her food is coming, or if you are behind a closed door and she wants in.

Luna lives with two respectful dogs without any issues.

Luna has tested positive for FeLV through PCR testing. FeLV is a feline-only virus that cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs. Though there is no known cure, FeLV is far from a death sentence. They have weaker immune systems, but cats who test positive for FeLV can live fulfilling and happy lives like any other cats—and can live for many years, often without harmful symptoms. She can be an only cat, with another cat that is FeLV positive, or with a cat-friendly dog.

Luna truly loves other cats and would love to find a home with an FeLV positive buddy.

Luna is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
