About Lunilee
Born ~01/2015, F, Blue Abyssinian
Lunilee is a riot, if you are looking for a dog in a cat’s body this is the cat for you. She fetches toys and comes when called. She rubs on your legs and has to help you do everything. She loves head butts and belly rubs. If you take vitamins in the morning, she has to sniff them all and make sure they are OK for you to take. If you use chap stick, she will reach up and pull your hand down so she can have some too, a touch on the nose is all she asks. She loves to sleep with her person and will throw herself against your back and stretch out.
Lunilee’s biggest drawback is that she HATES other animals. Dogs (big and small) and cats are prime targets. She will lunge and attack with claws and teeth bared. Lunilee MUST BE AN ONLY cat. She currently resides in a bedroom suite with her foster mom much to the chagrin of her foster mom’s own kitties. The resident Persians have even learned to stay clear of the doorway since Lunilee will reach out under the door to try to kill them.
Lunilee would be a wonderful companion for a one animal household. She is very entertaining, intelligent and super loving with her people. She needs lots of toys and interaction and things to climb on and explore. She will trek to the tops of bookcases and windows but is super agile and hasn’t knocked over anything! Although she will steal your glasses from the bedside table when your not looking, makes for a fun morning groping around blind looking for them!
If you are looking for a lifelong friend, look no further.
Lunilee is fostered in Placerville.

About the Abyssinian Breed
Of all the cat breeds, the Abyssinian is perhaps the one who lives life to the fullest. He climbs higher, jumps farther, plays harder and loves stronger. Nothing escapes the notice of this highly intelligent and inquisitive cat, a quality that makes life with him endlessly entertaining. Staying a step ahead of an Aby, or even just keeping pace with him, sometimes requires the fancy footwork of a Fred Astaire, the brainpower of an Einstein and a healthy sense of humor! You never know what he’ll get into next, although you can assume that if you have something or are doing something, your Aby will want to be right there with you helping every step of the way.
The Aby loves to play, so plan on making or purchasing a variety of toys to keep him occupied. Teach him to retrieve if you dare. Cause once you start, he will likely want to do it a lot! He learns tricks quickly and many Abys enjoy running a feline agility course. This is a playful, persistent, loving cat who adores being the center of attention. Abys are typically adaptable throughout their lives and fit well into almost any home where they are truly loved and given plenty of attention.
