About Luigi

Born ~2015, M, Odd-Eyed Bright White Domestic Shorthair

These two beautiful, sparkling white cats are brothers who are so identical it is hard to tell them apart. Both are white with pink noses and ears, and white whiskers. Fortunately Luigi has one special and unusual trait that makes it easy to tell them apart. His eyes are two different colors -one blue and one yellow. Odd eyed cats are treasured all around the world. & What is it about white cats that always seems to lift the hearts of people?

Of the two of them, Larry is the social butterfly; he is outgoing and happy go lucky. Larry loves attention and playing with toys, exploring, getting into trouble and helping you do your chores .Luigi is an active, playful boy also but he is shyer. He is a thoughtful boy who needs some time to adjust to the changes in his life.  He is a little mistrustful of humans but relaxes and allows us to pet him all over when he eats. Food is his favorite thing in the world. You can immediately break the ice and have his attention when you bring food to him. Larry likes food too but not with the focused attention and pleasure Luigi shows. Both are a similar healthy weight though I think they each could lose a pound or so chasing a feather while romping through their new home.
These boys are healthy young kitties ready to explore their new home.

They were owned by a cat loving family who had more cats than space for them so we are helping by finding homes for some of them. ( and their dad has been in the hospital )  Larry and Luigi have been well cared for and very loved. These two are up to date on their shots vaccinated, combo tested negative and microchipped, dewormed and on flea medicine.

They are cat-friendly but a home for just the two of them would be fine or a home with with one or two older cats.. They need lots of attention and love. Larry will be ready for everything pretty much from day one. Luigi will need a loving family who can allow him the time to come to trust them. He will be fine. And there is no hurry, just let him come to know you in his own way, his own time. It shouldn’t take long.

These two brother MUST go home together. Do not bother to ask me to separate them I will not. (And I will not answer such requests.)  Larry and Luigi make a beautiful pair and are very bonded. These boys need a stable, fairly calm home. I don’t know how they are with dogs. I would not suggest they go to a home with young children just to make things simpler for Luigi. It is easy to imagine them in a spacious lovely home where their graceful white presence is a continual, calming, visual delight. They are very loving cats.

Larry and Luigi eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect.

Their foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Harriet will get back to you as soon as she can. It you are seriously interested in this kitty it s a good idea to fill out an adoption application. If you are unable to reach Harriet , email us at

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment.  Why?  This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other.  A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
