About Lucy

Adopted by Hilary
Born ~Early 6/18, F, Calico Siamese Mix

Lucy and her brother Linus came to us from a shelter that was overflowing with kittens. Both of these sweet creatures came in as strays, so they did not know indoor living before they were scooped up. They were frightened, covered with fleas, and had probably never been touched by a human before. They weren’t sure what to think!

Lucy is the braver of the two, and she has the most beautiful and unique markings. She is marked much like a Siamese kitten, with her entire body a pure white, and where she has coloring, she is very calico. Her tail is striped like a calico raccoon, and her little ears and one cheek have a splash of color. Her eyes are still a pure blue, and may stay that way. Her heart can be won with toys. She LOVES to play, and she enjoys the company of other friendly cats. She shows her appreciation for food and toys by purring sweetly. She is learning that being petted is a good thing.

It has been a pleasure to watch them blossom into the playful little critters they are supposed to be. They still need some time to build trust and learn that they are safe, but with time and a loving and patient human they will be a rewarding addition to the right home. Lucy and Linus are very bonded to one another and would like to be adopted together. Both are litter box perfect, microchipped and altered.

Lucy and Linus are ready for adoption and are fostered in Davis.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
