About Lucerne

Born ~6/2019, M, White & Gray Tabby

My name is Lucerne (aka Luke). I’m a 4 month old male white and gray tabby. My siblings and I were found on a dairy farm. We were rescued by a nice lady who got our mama fixed and us babies went to foster homes. My foster mom keeps asking me if I’m part horse because my legs are getting so long! I love to run and play with the kittens and adult cats in my foster home. The big tall thing that my mom says is a dog doesn’t scare me. Naturally, I love boxes. I also like to play with wand toys, pipe cleaners, and little toys. I have taken a solemn oath to not let my human fall in the toilet so I like to supervise business in the bathroom. If I can’t prevent you from falling in, I’ll be right there with you.

When I’m done with my wild antics, I’m ready for a good cuddle. I think I’m the perfect mixture of mischief and love. My foster mom says I have an “insta purr” and that I’m not afraid to use it to my advantage. She also says that my brothers (Knudsen and Sunnyside) and I are three peas in a pod because we like to cuddle together and are always playing together. For some reason we like to play in the bath tub, but only when there isn’t any water in it.

I’m living with adult cats, kittens, and a large dog. I know how to perfectly use a litter box. I’ve been microchipped and neutered so I am ready to find my furever family. Are you it?

Interested? I am located in Sacramento. Contact my foster mom, Lesa at mickey5150@gmail.com, and she’ll check my social calendar to schedule a time for us to meet. I can lie, I hope you will like me along with one or both of my brothers. I can’t wait to meet you!! If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found at https://purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
