About Lola
Adopted by Annmarie and Mark
Born ~June 2016, Female, Black and White Maine Coon Mix
This little kitty started out very cute but sort of funny looking. She had a big round tummy like a tennis ball and a scuffed-up nose. As she has grown she has become a real beauty. Her very pink nose is now blemish free, her figure is normal, and her markings show themselves to be highly dramatic. She has a white spot in a field of black in the center of her back. Her white rear meets the black of her back in an unusual saw tooth pattern and then her tail is black. Her fur is soft and silky.
As a tiny kitten, she said “Just hold me and I will be still in your hand.” She was very young, tiny, and all alone in the shelter and wanted the warmth of being held. She was not initially friendly with other kittens but she has outgrown that. She and handsome Butterfield have been happy roommates and would be glad to go home together but that is not essential.
Lola loves attention from people she knows. She is a cuddler. She can be shy with strangers but not for long. She is a good little easy girl, well behaved, not unreasonable. She loves feathers and toys and food and windows and all manner of play. She will be someone’s darling companion.
She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or toharrietjane@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
