About Lobo
Adopted by Chris
Born July 2016, Male, Silver-Tipped Lynx Point DMH
Due to unforeseen circumstances this striking little boy and his sister Reeces Pieces are back and available for adoption! The decision was extremely difficult for the adopters and it was made with many tears, but they wanted to do the right thing for these precious little gems.
Are you looking for your own baby wolf? Well here he is! This little guy looks like a miniature silver-tipped wolf, hence his name Lobo. The base of the coat is white/silver but the tips are black/silver. His white feet only add to the drama. This all goes to make a very unique coat! The hair is medium length that is soft and plush. With that coat, it seems as if he has some Ragamuffin in his history somewhere. And such a face! He’s quite handsome and very lovable.
This little guy adapts quickly to change and is pretty happy go lucky when all is said and done. Without knowing too much of his history it looks like he has to learn inside manners but is doing quite well at it. He likes to cuddle and has a loud motorboat purr. He will talk to you while you cuddle him too. He will talk to you when you visit him or come in to feed him. He likes you to know where he is and will greet you, sometimes loudly.
This little guy was found with his sister Reeses Pieces, dumped on the street and very cautious. We’re sure his week at a shelter didn’t help his disposition any. But Lobo is anything but shy. He has adapted to his new surroundings and seems to warm up to people really quickly and is not scared of other kittens in the house that come to with him play through the baby gate. If one of the others foster kittens comes in his room, after a short sniff session they will play pretty easily. He loves to play with da mouse like Reeses Pieces but pretty much anything is a toy to him! He likes his tummy rubbed too, after he is worn out from playing. He loves tearing around the room with Reese in hot pursuit!
Lobo will need a playmate. He cannot be an only kitty; he has been with another kitten for all his life and would not do well by himself. We recommend that Lobo and Reeses Pieces be adopted together and preference will be given to adopters interested in both. Gentle children 8 or older would be best for this pair!
He will come to you vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, neutered and vet checked.
Lobo is fostered in Reno, NV.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
