About Llantu

Adopted by Andrei and Natasha

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program.  We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat.  It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Llantu is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with my current owner in San Rafael. Adoption fee applies. Find out more about Owner Placement Cats.

My name is Llantu which sounds like “Yawn-Two”. My people have been really wonderful to me and my littermate sister. I’ve had some tough luck and they have taken really good care of me. I got outside 2 years ago and was hurt really bad, but I made it back home. I had to go to the animal hospital because my shoulder blade was broken and it needed to be put back together. It took 10 weeks to recover ! This was a very hard time for me and my family. It’s all better, and I am fine now.

My family moved from our really big home when we were 2 years old. We had to be kept temporarily at a pet boarding place for a month before moving into a much smaller home. That has changed me. I’ve been nervous, sometimes over grooming, and getting into trouble for playing too rough with my sister. Who, by the way, is always putting her nose under my tail! I don’t hurt her, I really just want to play, having fun zooming around together, just being Bengals. I might like a cat wheel to run on.

I mostly go to my people for 1:1 attention and a cozy lap to lay on. I like playing fetch and instigate play. Scratches under my chin are part of our playtime activity, while I am attacking feathers on wands and running through tunnels! Some more of my favorite things are really high places, sleeping on and inside cat trees, or soft blankets near windows and glass doors, and especially napping in the warmth of the sun. I retreat to hide in dark spaces when it’s too hot or need some alone time. I live with 2 great kids that like to play with cats. I could possibly get along with another cat friendly cat that likes to play and chase like I do. Dogs? . . well . . I just don’t know? . . they might be too scary!

I am well fed and really enjoy eating! I mostly eat dry food twice a day. My favorite food is chicken, cooked or raw. “Hunting” for hidden treats is really fun ! It helps keep my active body and mind occupied. I get into people food sometimes when it’s been left out, or cupboard doors ajar.

I like being indoors and know it is safe inside. I have to be carefully watched about being outside. I need to always be in a secure place. An enclosed outdoor space, like a catio, or “cat safe” fenced yard would make me very happy. I am okay to go on short nearby walks wearing a harness with a leash. 100% supervision is a must for me. I don’t ever want to get hurt again.

Note: Bengal Breed Experience is recommended for Llantu.

My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet food, and eats dry food. They say that’s good!

I currently live with my owner in San Rafael.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
