About Lennie

Adopted by Anh

Lennie has the classic snowshoe markings with his beautiful seal points, a very soft plush cream coat, and his trademark is his white snowshoes. He is an extremely handsome boy.

He enjoys his playtime, and just about anything he moves is a good toy option for him. He especially loves a crackling candy wrapper, paper bag, or a curled-up pipe cleaner. He can be found in the house chasing around with his two foster friends. He would love to go home with one or needs to go to a home with another cat or kitten in the household.

On New Year’s Eve, we got a call from the shelter that three kittens had come in with upper respiratory infections. It was a holiday weekend, and they would not have a veterinarian on staff until Monday. URI infections are something we can easily treat, so we quickly headed to the shelter to pick up three kittens to jump-start their treatment. Little did we know their eye infections were much more severe than we realized over the phone and seeing pictures. Lexie, Lacie, and Lennie came in together and looked to be about the same age, but we are not sure they are siblings. We were extremely concerned about Lacie and Lennie and knew they had an eye ulcer in one of their eyes. We started two kinds of eye medications every four hours until we were able to get them in to see an ophthalmologist. Fast forward through the next few weeks. We were able to get their eyes stable and not in danger in having to remove an eye. Both Lacie and Lennie will have limited sight in one of their eyes. Lexie has a clouded eye but limited vision in one eye. This has been a labor of love to get these kittens ready for adoption, and happily, we can report they have been cleared by their doctors to join their new families.

We hope you can look past this hardship in their early lives and give them the love they require moving ahead in their happy, healthy lives. Helping kittens in need is what we do best at the rescue, and we are so proud of the care we were able to provide these three little ones.

Lennie is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

He currently lives with his foster family in Davis.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pets and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Lennie, please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Laurel B Fagan at laurel@faganhome.com or 5303042836. If you are unable to reach Laurel B Fagan, please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
