About Sailor
Adopted by Debbie & Neal
It is well known that I love the red tabbies, and I especially love the ones with white on their tummy and feet. How could I resist Sailor, who was being carried into a shelter as I was exiting? “You better give him to me,” I said. “Where is the rest of his litter?” She didn’t know.
He was just a little scrap, maybe three weeks old; you can see his baby picture below. Sailor has grown into a youngster with a very special spirit. He has a deep heart. Can you see it in his eyes? I named him Sailor because he sails the seas of life.
This is not to imply he is not a play monster. My goodness, he likes his feathers. He is instantly riveted by them when you wave them about and will happily destroy them. He can be all play and curious kitten and loves other cats. He is also all about connecting with humans. Sailor is very comfortable in human hands and arms. As a singleton, a kitten all alone, he was held and loved a great deal as he grew up. His sweetheart nestles in with humans.
This is a fascinating kitten, multidimensional and complex. He will make someone a wonderful, loving companion. He is a treasure.
Sailor eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
