Lana was born Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. This lovely purebred Bengal cat comes from championship bloodlines. Lana’s caretaker states that she has a sweet temperament, a pleasing disposition, and that she is a gorgeous cat with exemplary Bengal traits.
Lana was basically abandoned by her previous owners, and since her caretakers have other Bengal cats, they asked our organization to help find this lovely girl a wonderful new home. Their 12 year old daughter, who is exceptionally good with cats and spends a lot of time with Lana, has indicated that she really wants Lana to find a good home also. We gladly accept this mission and will do everything we can to find her a perfect, permanent home where some lucky adopter promises to NEVER abandon her again.
Lana would either do well in an adult only home (preference will be given to people who have Bengal experience and who aren’t just interested in her because of her exceptional beauty). She would also do very well in a loving family environment. She is good with kids, kind, gentle and caring. She is very friendly and as is the case with most Bengal cats, will bond strongly with her human caregivers.
Her caretaker feels that Lana would probably do best as an only pet, so that her new family can provide her with more attention and also because she can be shy and anxious around other animals.
When asked the questions what it means to have Lana in your life, her caretaker shared the following:
She raises up to meet your hand when you go to pet her. She is very supportive, trusting, and very well behaved. She naturally has a lot of energy, is very curious and watches what you do. She would be a wonderful pet for someone lonely; she just needs someone who is very caring. She loves to be taken care of, for example, food brought to her, tucking her in, physical actions to show you care and are taking care of her; I think she is timid in this way because of the seizures.
The last sentence refers to the fact that Lana has a history of mild seizures. Lana had been medicated in the past for this condition, but is now completely weaned off the medication.
Her last vet check was approximately 6 months ago. She is litter box perfect.
