Koa and Moki are two beautiful Ragdolls! Both of their people have passed away and they are currently in the care of the couple’s daughter. This is what she says about them:

Both kitties have Hawaiian names, my Mother was from Hawaii and my parents both lived on the Island for many years. Koa means Warrior in Hawaiian which fits his personality. He has luxurious cream and white fur and beautiful blue eyes. His nick name is ‘Big Guy.’ He was my father’s best bud and although he loved his mommy and would sit with her, he was really into my Dad. I would consider him more my Father’s cat. Koa is laid back, interacts with people he is familiar with. Koa really enjoys interactive playtime with Moki and people. We have tons of toys in the house, a kitty condo and a tunnel they enjoy. He loves play time with soft mouse type toys, his favorite thick rubber band (which he plays with in his special water dish,) strings on sticks chase a laser pointer and runt through their tube. He also loves to be taken outside for a few minutes weather permitting, but must be attended. Koa is the strong one of the pair and takes good care of Moki who is shy until the house is quiet. They both used to sit atop of my parent’s cushions on the back of their chairs which looked directly at the couch where my father used to sit.

These boys love to be combed, and need grooming almost daily to avoid getting matts. Both Koa and Moki like tummy rubs, and to sleep on the bed. Koa really loves one of his kitty beds my Mom bought him. They are not declawed, and are used to having their claws trimmed regularly. We have several scratch pads around the house and they have never clawed the furniture to my knowledge

These two kitties really need a quiet home, where people are around most of the time. They do not do well around other animals, loud noises, and have never been around small children. They grew up only knowing my daughter from age 13 until now, and she has always been quiet with them. I am an only child and this is the last living thing I have left of my parents. So I really want the best for them, and I am willing to help in any way I can to have them get readjusted to a new life. If you think these beautiful boys would be a good addition to your family, please reach out to us.

Koa is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet food, and is litterbox perfect.

He currently lives with his owner in Walnut Creek.

Purebreds Plus Cat rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Koa (& Moki) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
