Born 1/30/2008, Female, Bi-Colored, Purebred Japanese Bobtail

Sweet Kiku was originally purchased from a breeder by an elderly woman who passed away when Kiku was about 2 years old. She then was adopted by a man who retired from work and wanted to travel for a while. He found Kiku’s caretaker through a rescue that specializes in the Japanese Bobtail breed. Kiku’s caretaker agreed to foster her while he was traveling. At one point the owner emailed the caretaker and told her he has fallen in love, got married and decided to live in Vietnam.

Kiku’s caretaker contacted Purebreds Plus to see if we can help find this engaging, loving girl a forever home.

Kiku is an outgoing, confident, very sweet little cat. She has a lovely coat that she loves to have brushed. She only uses the scratching “log” instead of any furniture pieces, and her caretaker describes her as such a joy to have around.

She is a healthy kitty. The only small issue is that Kiku has a blocked tear duct in her right eye, and it waters and stains. She is GREAT about having her sweet little face cleaned. She has no litter box issues.

All she needs is to find a forever home with someone that treasures the sweetness and unique qualities this special breed is known for.
