About Kiera
Born ~4/24/2022, F, Occicat Mix
Adoption Fee: $175
Ginger kitties are wonderful. But, did you know that, while they aren’t exactly rare, only about 20% of ginger kitties are female. So, my litter of three is definitely special. In addition, because they are an Ocicat mix, they have beautiful coats and markings. All three are very active, affectionate and playful. They can all be talkers, especially when it’s time to eat. They get along extremely well and love playing together. Their athleticism becomes apparent as they chase each other around the house and up and down the cat trees. When it’s time to wind down in the evening, they can usually be found together.
Kiera, with her golden eyes, is the sweet, mellow one of the three. She likes to snuggle, but on her own terms, and will seek out attention when she wants it, purring happily. She is happiest if there is a fluffy blanket included so that she can make biscuits. Like her sisters, she enjoys belly rubs and pets, which are rewarded with her sweet purr. She can often be found wherever her sister Fiona is, whether it’s playing or sleeping together. She shares the curious, inquisitive nature of sisters and wants to know what is behind every closed door. Kiera enjoys all toys, but seems to have an affinity for those that are stuffed with catnip and will roll around on the floor with them. She really enjoys chasing the ball in the track which can never be caught, as well as jumping in and out of boxes
Kiera gets along well with the other foster kitties, as well as the resident cats. She would love to be adopted with one of her sisters. If not, she needs to be in a home with another friendly kitty who will welcome her and be her buddy. Because she is active, playful and social, Kiera’s new family should be willing to give her plenty of attention and playtime. If you really love orange kitties, consider enriching your life by adopting all three.
Kiera is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in Foresthill .

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
