About Juliet Too

Born ~2019, F, Lynx Point Siamese Mix

In 2015 a Lynx Point Siamese pregnant child bride named Juliet came to foster with me and had four babies. Juliet Too is also a child bride but she had already had her four baby kittens when she came to me. A cat lover, Bobbi, saw her wandering around an auto repair shop in Stockton ( see photo below ). She was thin.  Then she began to look even thinner, she was now pregnant and struggling. When Bobbi contacted me I suggested she buy a bag of dry cat food and see if the guys at the garage would leave it out for her. They wouldn’t do it; they didn’t want to get involved. The next I heard  she had her four babies and looked more emaciated than ever.

This kind woman, Bobbi, complained more to the guys at the garage. Finally the garage owner said that the cat belonged to a homeless woman who was living in a derelict car out back. “Ask her” he said. Ultimately this woman finally said “Ok so take them”. Bobbi  caught Juliet easily but only found three of her kittens. Two days later she called me, worried. “A kitten all alone and without food for 48 hours ????” Instantly stressed I said you have to get her right now!!!. The kitten was somewhere in a large storage room filled with big pieces of autos and tons of stuff and she couldn’t be found. “Go now” I said “Take the mom back and put her on the floor. She will find her kitten.”  And she did.

I always like to help kindhearted cat rescuers. Once they catch the cat if I can I am willing to do the next part and find them homes.  Bobbi brought me the whole family. Later just as Juliet’s four kittens were getting weaned, I took in to foster a motherless litter of four more baby kittens. This good little mommy, Juliet, still thin and depleted from her first litter, let them nurse on her. (They saw her through a floor level glass window and yelled for her the minute they saw her.) She bathed them, kept them warm and they flourished. ( They are Lucy and Leo, Smudge and Butterworth)

I tell you this because you should know what a good girl she is, a giving, loving hardworking kitty. You have to admire her. Now that she is spayed and done with motherhood she has finally gained weight and is rounder and healthy. She is ready to be pampered on a pillow and get love and more love. She would like some catnip too.

Juliet does not like to be picked up and put on a shoulder but she is a very affectionate girl. She pushes her head into your palm with great passion and rubs up against you. She will sit on your lap and watch old movies with you late into the night. Someone will be so lucky to have the sweet companionship of this great- hearted girl.  And what fun to pamper her and make her so happy after her hard start in life.

Juliet likes wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
