Izzy is a sweet and precious little Himalayan. Her current family loves her very much and will be so very sad to have to let her go, but sadly one of their daughters has become allergic to this little kitty, so they contacted our organization to find a wonderful permanent home for her.
Izzy is your typical easy going Himalayan. She loves to relax around the house and lie at the end of the bed where you can have easy access to pet her or scratch her head. She is great with children. Her current owner states that as active as their two year old is around Izzy, this little cat has been so gentle and rarely scratches her…well, unless their little daughter really goes after Izzy; then this little kitty will let the little human know that enough is enough.
Izzy has not been around other cats so it is unknown how she would be with other felines, but she has been around a little Shih Tzu dog and does fine around the little dog.
Her current owner would not describe her as a play monster, but rather as a lounge kitty. When Izzy wants to be held or requires some lap time, she will seek out her human(s) and lets her desire for some love and affection be known. Because their older daughter (who is not allergic to Izzy) loves this little kitty, and Izzy loves to spend time with the daughter, the current owner thinks that Izzy would do very well in a home with cat savvy children. They really want this little treasure to go to a home where someone is very loving and will take great care of Izzy.
Izzy is spayed and current on her vaccinations. She has had a vet checkup within the last 6 months and weighs about 8 – 9 lbs. Of course she is an indoor only kitty and she eats organic cat food.
