About Ivory

Adopted by Landai and Jared

Born July 12, 2015, Female, White & Silver Tabby Siberian

Ivory is blessed with beauty, poise, and personality. She loves to chase her companion kitties all over the place. Her favorite thing to do is get herself all bunched up in the throw rug and when an unsuspecting human or feline comes along, she practices her pouncing/hunting skills on them to perfection. She will get her balls out of the toy box and chase them around, it is so adorable to watch!

Ivory was rescued from a breeder who contacted our organization for assistance. Although the breeder clearly loved her very much, she also realized she needed to be socialized before she was ready for adoption. Trusting our organization’s reputation and the fact that we had foster space available, she asked us to take her in and find her forever home.

Ivory enjoys being loved up by her foster mom, especially in the morning. She has come a long way from being a frightened, unsocialized little kitty girl. At this point in time she does not like to be picked up or smothered with attention. She may never become a kitty that enjoys being dragged around the house like a Ragdoll or Persian. She also may never become a lap kitty. With her striking looks and purrsonalty, her adopters may just have to enjoy her physical beauty and antics. Experienced kitty parents will also understand the importance of letting kitties approach their humans on their own terms – they instinctively know when the timing is right for them, and as loving kitty parents we need to honor their instincts.

Ivory will need to be adopted into a home with another young cat with mother instincts (either male or female). She gets along splendidly with the gentle resident cats, so we expect she should do well in a multi-cat household after proper introductions.

Ivory will come to you spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

She eats both wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Ivory is fostered in the Elk Grove area.
