Bonded Pair
Hope and Faith MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Faith here.
Hope and Faith are a package deal and must be adopted together. They had a very difficult start in life. They were found in some blankets at Folsom Lake. They had severe eye infections and upper respiratory infections. They have since had their eyes removed and have adjusted very well. Sphynx cats make wonderful pets. But, they can get cold easily and will seek out warm spots in your home, so a sweater helps. They require grooming, including a weekly bath and ear cleaning.
Faith is very sweet. She likes to play with toys that make noise, like crinkle balls, mice that rattle, and paper balls. She is a velcro kitty who enjoys being with her people. She likes to cuddle on your lap, under the covers, or sleep in her heated bed. She is extremely affectionate. She is not quite as adventurous as her sister and has not ventured to the counter tops or tables, but has gotten stuck at the top of the kitty tower or on beds.
You may wonder how they will do in your home. Some things to keep in mind:
-Please, no open staircases in your home.
-Their sense of smell and hearing are more important to them than their vision, so you may see fairly normal behavior once they adjust to your home. It’s important to keep things in their place. If you move something, remember to put it back when you are finished. Beds, food and water dishes must be kept in th”their” place.
-Don’t carry them from one place to another, but guide them with words. This will help them learn their environment. When you hold them, they will hold on with their claws because they can’t see their surroundings.
They are looking for an adult household with someone who is home a lot and will treat them like the princess’s they are. Sphynx breed and blind kitty experience is a plus. It would be best if they were the only kitties in the home, but they may be ok with other pets, depending on the circumstances.
Hope is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento .

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
