About Hershey
Adopted by Laura
Born ~5/17/16, F, Chocolate brown Ragamuffin mix
Hershey is a beautiful girl, just over two years old. She has soft, long, chocolate brown fur, a very rare and unique color. She has had a rough time in the last year, but now is doing much better. She went for her recheck on Saturday September 8th and is doing very well. She was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal stenosis in May 2018. She endured two procedures to open her airways and the second one was a success. After all she went through, she is a most loving, friendly, affectionate cat. She enjoys being near you and being involved in your life. She greets all visitors and is friendly to other cats and dogs.
Because of her long coat she does require grooming about three times a week to keep her looking her best. Fortunately she enjoys being brushed and adores the extra attention.
She is a playful girl. Her favorite toy is the plastic spring. She will play with that and amuse herself for several hours. She hits it about and chases it around the room. She will pick it up and bring it to you to throw for her. At times she acts more like a dog then a cat! She also loves to follow you around and stay close, so be careful where you step!
Will you be the one to add this beautiful treasure to your family? You will not regret it, that’s for sure!
Hershey will come to you spayed, vaccinated, tested and microchipped. All her medical records will accompany her to her forever home. She is fostered in the Sacramento area.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
