About Gracie Bell
Please Love Me…
Gracie Belle was found at a community colony of kitties and quickly made her presence known. She was absolutely not a feral kitty and in no uncertain terms, she made the human who feeds the kitties know that she wanted her own human and her own home. She would wind her soft, little body around the human, follow him and meow plaintively. She was asking, desperately, for help. The human did rescue her and contacted PPCR. We gladly accepted her into our rescue.
The first thing on the list was to get her to the vet. She had no chip, was underweight, and full of fleas. We treated her for fleas, provided good food, a warm safe place to sleep, and lots of love. She turned into her best beautiful self. She was scared of the foster’s resident kitties and she did spend some time hiding in the bathroom. However, she loved and adored attention from her foster mom and dad. We knew we needed to find her a home and believed the best fit would be an only kitty home.
We found the perfect home for this special little girl. An older woman saw her and fell in love. Gracie was the spitting image of a cat she had lost. The bond between them was instant. She is now in a single kitty home, safe, loved, and cherished beyond belief.
Stories like this rate high with us among the great rewards of rescue stories, and you can believe that we never forget how many kinds of people it takes to make them possible. Whether you are a volunteer, a past adopter, or a donor, we at PPCR extend to you our deepest thanks and best wishes for a happy holiday season.
