About Fluffer Nutter
Adopted by Kat & Norton
Born ~September 2016, Female, Smoke DLH/Manx
Available Late November
Hi everybody! I’m Fluffer-Nutter! I’m a beautiful smoke colored little girl. My foster Mom thinks I am going to be a girly girl. Not sure what that is but she calls me that. I have a full ruff around my neck and tufts on my ears! And I have a full tail, which is normal for some Manx’s – so I consider myself a Manx! My brother, S’more is the tailless one. I am a variant of the Cymric to be exact, which is a long-haired Manx but with a tail! He’s probably jealous of my tail too. hehe
I love being fussed over. I love to cuddle and really enjoy you humans. Right now I am not so adventurous. I like to wait and see what happens when my brother or the other kittens try something, and then I might join in or just climb into your lap for some attention. I’m not shy, I just love humans!
I like to play too! I will play with feathers or anything that dangles. I do like mice too! Not live ones silly, the little brightly colored ones. I do like to wrestle with the other kittens and when I’m tuckered out, I love curling up with my brother. He’s my buddy!
I have a pretty loud motor when I purr! I also have a cute little trill I use to get your attention! If you would like a little lover that will follow you around, then I might be the girl for you.
Fluffer Nutter will come to you spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and vet checked! She would be okay as a single kitten as long as she is not alone all day. If she would be left alone for long periods then it would be best to adopt two kittens. Of course, if you have another easy going kitty that will want to play that will work as well.
Manx are fun loving creatures. They typically like to retrieve, play in water, and carry things around in their mouth. They will bring you a toy when you are in bed, reading, or doing something other then interact with them. These cats attach themselves to their human family with uncanny devotion, often claiming one individual over the others as their special friend. Generally not loud cats, quiet chirps, trills or purrs, and gentle head bumps, are the favored methods of communication for a Manx. It is a joy to be owned by a Manx, I was owned by one for 16 years. A well-loved, well-cared for Manx will become an important part of any family. Once they have entered your heart, you will find it hard to ever be without a Manx. These are truly cats for everyone.
Manx can be completely tailless or even have a full length tail. These siblings prove that –Fluffer Nutter has a full tail and S’more has a rumpy tail. Read more about the Manx here.
Fluffer Nutter is fostered in Reno, NV.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
