About Fawn (& Joey)

Adopted by Rebecca & Jonathan

Fawn and Joey MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Joey here. [link to companion cat on the word “here”]

Fawn and her brother Joey had a rough start to life. Joey came to his foster mom having just had a BB pellet removed from his back. Later, their foster mom discovered a BB pellet behind Fawn’s left ear and it was removed when she was spayed. They are amazingly well adjusted considering everything they have gone through but they will need a home full of love and patience, as well as a little fun and a sense of security to help them fully come out of their shells and thrive.

Fawn is still a little more reserved than her brother, partly because she is already becoming a very mature young lady. However, she is slowly starting to understand the appeal to cuddles and she loves being scratched behind her ears. She also loves to play and her foster mom thinks she has the potential to become a total cuddle bug once she finds her forever family.

Fawn is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet food, eats dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Davis.

Purebreds Plus Cat rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Fawn (& Joey) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Laurel at laurel@faganhome.com or 530-304-2836. If you are unable to reach Laurel please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
