About Fauna
Fauna is a special kitten. She came into rescue as a very young baby with her siblings. As they grew and started weaning, she faltered. She had trouble holding down solid foods. A trip to a specialist gave us an answer: She has a stricture in her esophagus that narrows the opening into her stomach. She has had a procedure to open that stricture but no one can guarantee it is a permanent fix. It may be necessary, at some unknown point, to repeat the procedure called Balloon Dilation. As a result, Fauna is on canned food only in order to not irritate her esophagus. She had the Balloon Dilation in August and has done very well for the last couple of months
Maybe because she needed extra attention, Fauna is a special little girl. She is incredibly sweet and snuggly. She loves to be held so she can peek over your shoulder. She will purr and rub against you, and if given the opportunity she will snuggle in your lap for a nap. She is very human-bonded and likes to interact with her people.
This wonderful little girl has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated with her kitten series. She is FeLV Negative. She is ready for her forever home.
If you would like more information, please contact foster mom, April, at aprilfieldsrvt@gmail.com or send in an Adoption Application with your chosen kitten’s name. If you are unable to reach April, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
