About Fabio(and Jet)
Born ~10/23/2021, M, Maine Coon Mix
Adoption Fee: $250 for both cats
Fabio and Jet MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Jet here.
Fabio came to the rescue as a very scared little guy, not trusting anyone. He was afraid of humans. After just a few days, he started to warm up and realize that his person was pretty good, and playing with the other kittens was a lot of fun. Now he is comfortable in his surroundings but still skittish of strangers. He only takes a few minutes to warm up now and will start purring immediately when you pick him up or give him gentle pets and he loves his belly rubbed, which is a huge accomplishment. He is an absolutely stunning kitten with long white and buff fur, soft as a bunny, and he has expressive gold eyes. The lucky family that adopts Fabio will need to understand that he will not do well if you push him. He needs to learn to trust and get comfortable with you first and should be held as often as possible to gain the trust and love that he needs and really wants. He is very comfortable with his foster brother Jet and must be adopted with him. Jet is a very confident kitten, and he gives Fabio the security that he needs to become a wonderful, loving kitten that he is on his way to being. Fabio doesn’t mind the foster mom’s little dog and would surely adjust to a cat-friendly dog in the home.
Fabio is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in West Sacramento.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pets and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
