About Emmie

Adopted by Carine

Look at these precious bedroom eyes. Meet Emmie, a Purebred Exotic Shorthair silver shaded kitten. She came to us with quite a story. She was found on the streets by Animal Control. Hard to believe a treasure like her would be outside. The shelter called our rescue to see if we would take her and of course we needed to help her! She was dirty, underweight and covered with ringworm. Was she purchased from a breeder, let outside and lost? We never know the stories these cats can’t tell us.

Fast forward after five weeks of regimented treatment to clear her skin, she is finally ready for adoption. She is so happy to be in the kitty room meeting new friends and enjoying life. She loves other kitties and would enjoy the company of another feline in her new home or with a family who is home most of the day. She is very playful and loves all her new interactive toys. We are not sure how she is around dogs. She is not a lap cat…yet, but as she expands her world of human love, life is going to open to her. She is a little treasure that deserves a new special home that will cherish her and keep her safe indoors.

Emmie is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Davis.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Emmie please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Laurel at laurel@faganhome.com or 530.304.2836. If you are unable to reach Laurel please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
