About Eclipse

Hello, my name is Eclipse. I am an Ocicat. I am an athletic, active cat. I am solid and well-muscled with a short spotted coat with a satin sheen. Did you know that my breed started from the Abyssinian and Siamese breeds? The American Shorthair was added which made my breed larger in size.
My temperament is anything but ferocious. I am more like a dog, friendly, confident, loving, and playful. I will flop on my side or back to get pets and belly rubs. I enjoy kneading on my foster mom’s robe. I love to play and am interested in all toys. If no one plays with me, I will pull some toys out of the toy box and amuse myself.
I am a curious fellow and will follow you around to see what you are doing. I also enjoy looking outside and watching everything happening. I get along well with the resident cats in my foster home and would do well in a home with another non-aggressive cat. Are you the right home for me? I am a very special guy that will brighten up every day of your life!
My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!
I currently live with my foster family in Elk Grove.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
