About Drew

Drew, Born ~5/25/17, F, Ruddy/Tabby Abyssinian Mix

Watch Drew, Drake, Dakota and Daniel Play!

Mom was a petite blue Aby, only about 5.5 pounds, cute as a button and a very sweet loving disposition. She managed to get out to be with her boyfriend from the wrong side of the tracks. True love has no bounds…

My name is Drew! I am always looking for an adventure. I love stalking and pouncing on anything that moves will and even some things that only look like they’re moving. It’s really hard for me to sit still!

I’m waiting and watching for something to play with. Wait for it…wait…ATTACK! Oh man! That kitty, Uncle Nix, is big! Okay, I have to arch my back and look real big to scare him! Oh good, he’s backing away! Oh look, a ball! A new feather toy! I want it, I got it! I’m running away now and you can’t catch me! Oh food…I love food. Yummy! Yawn, tired now, time for a cat nap. Ahhh…sleep.

What are you waiting for? I’m adorable and love to cuddle once I am all tired out from playing! I’m waiting for you to call and take me home. I promise to love you forever. How special is that? So call my foster Mom now!

Drew is the only girl of this lively litter of four. She is the smallest, and has the biggest eyes that just melt your heart. She has the cutest little Aby face and ruddy type ticking and markings. She has some stripe markings on her legs and spots on her belly. Her hair is somewhere between short like a standard Aby and medium length. All in all she is adorable, like her Mom.

Drew loves to play with anything! She is typically the first one to attack or play with a new toy when it is introduced as the video shows. She holds her own with her brothers and does not let them push her around. She is a typically Aby kitten with the energy and the intelligence to keep you entertained and totally engaged! Drew would like to go home with one of her siblings so she will not be lonely or another young easy going playful kitten would work too!

Drew will come to you fully vetted, up-to date on vaccines, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed and FIV/FLEV tested and of course she is litterbox perfect. She will be available August 19th.

Drew is fostered in Reno, NV.

They do not like to sit still for long so good pictures are a challenge. Will add more as we are able to get them.

Please call Kathy or Norton at 775-626-3518 or email tazanovakat@yahoo.com or send an Adoption Application.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!

About the Abyssinian Breed

Of all the cat breeds, the Abyssinian is perhaps the one who lives life to the fullest. He climbs higher, jumps farther, plays harder and loves stronger. Nothing escapes the notice of this highly intelligent and inquisitive cat, a quality that makes life with him endlessly entertaining. Staying a step ahead of an Aby, or even just keeping pace with him, sometimes requires the fancy footwork of a Fred Astaire, the brainpower of an Einstein and a healthy sense of humor! You never know what he’ll get into next, although you can assume that if you have something or are doing something, your Aby will want to be right there with you helping every step of the way.

The Aby loves to play, so plan on making or purchasing a variety of toys to keep him occupied. Teach him to retrieve if you dare. ‘Cause once you start, he will likely want to do it a lot! This is a playful, persistent, loving cat who adores being the center of attention. Abys are typically adaptable throughout their lives and fit well into almost any home where they are truly loved and given plenty of attention.
