Dove is a happy, sweet, and fun ball of love with a touch of a quirky personality. She enjoys playing with others and is more than happy to indulge you in companionship love and enjoyment. She is definitely an extrovert and one of the first to greet you when you come in.
Just shy of a year old, Dove loves to play with others and toys, a few of her favorite toys include paper bags, boxes, spring toys, crinkle balls and zip ties are a must! Dove is the perfect combination of couch cat and playmate. No one can have a bad day with this girl in their lives!
In addition to all of her perfect traits, she has a beautifully marked velvety short coat that is extremely easy to maintain with grooming once a week at the most. Because she is still learning to appreciate her grooming, grooming sessions work best after playtime. Her cream colors, chocolate and lynx points and bright blue eyes are incredible! How could anyone pass on this beautiful little lady!
Dove’s foster family has all sorts of other furry creatures she gets along with, even the Border Collie Gracie, so a family with another playful and loving kitty maybe best. Dove is not much of a talker and if she does, it is in a very soft voice. We think Dove would flourish with an active yet stable family home with a younger playmate. A family that would love a playful and charismatic companion, who would cherish her adoring charming personality.
Dove is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, FeLV negative, dewormed, microchipped and uses her litter box perfectly. She has a fairly simple diet of both canned and dry food and loves the occasional treat too, though she would eat them in exchange of real food I am sure.
Dove currently lives with her foster family in Sacramento. If you are looking for a best friend, a companion, a truly lovable and playful addition to your home and willing to give her as much love as she will provide, she would love to have you as her forever family!
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
