About Dobby

Dobby is a little sweetheart who loves to play, snuggle, eat, and sit in the sun. He’s a typical Sphynx: smart, curious, loving, and playful. His absolute favorite pastime is snuggling up and laying on his people. He’s a total cuddle bug and would love to spend all day and all night with or on you! Except for playtime! Dobby loves to chase any toy on a wand that his person makes dance around the room.
He’s great with all humans, he even loves kids! A lively household with lots of people to give him attention is what Dobby would absolutely love! An ideal situation would be someone who works from home and can give him attention all day. (He is definitely not a cat one could leave even for a day or 2 to go on vacation.)
Dobby is not a fan of other animals in the house, but a very chill pet who would be patient with him could work.
Dobby does need a weekly bath (Sphynx cats are not hypoallergenic as oils build up on their skin requiring regular bathing by their people). Dobby is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in San Francisco.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
