Meet the Dixie Chicks! Dixie and Trixie, partners in crime, two peas in a pod. These two girls are all about fun and games and action. They love each other dearly and love to adventure around the house to find their entertainment. They love their people and are a joy to foster. They love being in the family mix of activities.

They are considered a tortoiseshell in color or what we call a “tort”. A mixture of colors ranging from black, deep orange and a cream gold accent swirled together to make a fancy coat pattern. Dixie looks like she has glitter sprinkled on her face. These girls came into rescue at about four weeks and blossomed into very special kittens. They are good with cats, gentle children and a cat friendly dog.

Dixie is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Davis.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Dixie (and Trixie) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Laurel at laurel@faganhome.com or 5303042836. If you are unable to reach Laurel please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
