Hello, have you seen my brother Samson’s message about us yet? I am a Ragdoll/ Maine Coon and am more Ragdoll than Maine Coon. Samson is ‘mainly’ Maine Coon and you can see him with the other Maine Coons. He is a manly looking guy, that really loves the ladies. You know how it is with siblings, some have stronger family traits than others, well that’s us! We were adopted as Purebred Plus Kittens about 11 years or so ago to Connie and Phil. We have loved them so much! And we all really miss Connie who went to heaven last year. Phil has promised us that he would find a perfect forever home where we will have someone there most of the time. He has to be gone for work and sometimes travels so that leaves us by ourselves too much and makes us feel lonely.

I really miss my wonderful Connie and we think she would be so happy for us to be where there is a “Mom”at home. I sometimes sits on a chest in the family room, it has a big picture window with a big tree outside that always has lots of birds to watch. Connie always encouraged me to jump up to see the birds. I still look for the jump up cue from Connie, but she’s been gone for so long now I don’t think she’s ever coming back. I do love people very much, Phil says I am an ambassador kitty because I come right out to meet and greet everyone. Samson holds back and waits to see how I get along with friends and visitors first. That is not the case where food is concerned, he is a big boy and a big eater! I am picky sometimes. I like our Blue Buffalo adult chicken dry food and the senior/weight loss chicken food, but, you know, a girl has to keep her figure and I am the perfect weight. We are both healthy kitties, the Vet said so and neither one of us are on any medications.

We are used to a litter box in the bathroom adjoining the main bedroom. We have liked sleeping with our people at night. I like to cuddle and snuggle and sleep all night. Samson thinks he’s the night watchman and will quietly patrol the house during part of the night. He sleeps a lot during the day and I am more more awake taking a cat nap or two.

We’ve been indoor cats our whole lives with loving caring people. We’ve never been with a dog, or small kids and prefer to be together just the two of us. It might take a little getting used to being in a new home, but we will return your love with all our hearts once we know we are where we are meant to be. Love, Delilah

My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!

I currently live with my owner in Rancho Mirage.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
