Hi my name is Daniel. I am so lucky. We all had a URI when we came into rescue but my eyes were soooo bad. I’m so much happier and healthier now! My eyes are almost back to normal, for a while we were not sure that would be the case! I kept the faith and was oh so good getting my medication and it really paid off! Yippie!

I am very lovable, so patient, and oh so cuddly. My foster Mom tells me that all the time. I love hanging out with my foster parents and my siblings. I can play rough and tumble wrestling with the best of them. I love balls, the little mice but especially the tunnel, because it’s so much fun to run around and play with my siblings through it! I’m a little goofy sometimes when I play—cause I play with nothing! Who needs toys?! I can really make you laugh with all my antics.

Daniel is very sweet and his foster Mom’s favorite. He has the little Aby face and the blue Aby coloring like his Mom. His hair looks like it will be short like a standard Abys. All in all he is an adorable little boy with all the personality characteristics of a true Aby.

Daniel is a typically Aby kitten with the energy and the intelligence to keep you entertained and totally engaged! Daniel would like to go home with one of his siblings so he will not be lonely or another young easy going playful kitten would work too!

Daniel will come to you fully vetted, up-to date on vaccines, de-wormed, microchipped, neutered and FIV/FLEV tested and of course he is litterbox perfect. He will be available August 19th.

Daniel is fostered in Reno, NV.

They do not like to sit still for long so good pictures are a challenge. Will add more as we are able to get them.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!

About the Abyssinian Breed

Of all the cat breeds, the Abyssinian is perhaps the one who lives life to the fullest. He climbs higher, jumps farther, plays harder and loves stronger. Nothing escapes the notice of this highly intelligent and inquisitive cat, a quality that makes life with him endlessly entertaining. Staying a step ahead of an Aby, or even just keeping pace with him, sometimes requires the fancy footwork of a Fred Astaire, the brainpower of an Einstein and a healthy sense of humor! You never know what he’ll get into next, although you can assume that if you have something or are doing something, your Aby will want to be right there with you helping every step of the way.

The Aby loves to play, so plan on making or purchasing a variety of toys to keep him occupied. Teach him to retrieve if you dare. ‘Cause once you start, he will likely want to do it a lot! This is a playful, persistent, loving cat who adores being the center of attention. Abys are typically adaptable throughout their lives and fit well into almost any home where they are truly loved and given plenty of attention.
