Cougar is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with her current owner in Tracy. Adoption fee applies. Find out more about Owner Placement Cats.

Meet Cougar, a beautiful, spayed 8 yr old Chausie. Cougar is sweet and affectionate. She is polite, dainty, gentle and quiet. She loves to be held and loves attention. She is the perfect cat in the right home. Cougar loves playing with all kinds of toys and also loves sleeping on your lap and even in bed with you. Her owner says she has a very cute soft snore. She loves her human very much and enjoys when he is home with her. When visitors come over, she tends to be social and does not run and hide.
Cougar has perfect litterbox habits. She is used to small dogs, we are not sure about big ones. Her perfect home does not have any cats or younger children, an older small dog would be okay. Cougar does not get along with other cats, a home with cats will not be considered.
She recently has had a dental with teeth extracted and other than that, the vet believes she is in great health.
Cougar is the perfect cat, that needs the perfect home where she will be loved and spoiled rotten.

Cougar is spayed, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her owner in Tracy.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Cougar please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Debbie at or 714-851-4854. If you are unable to reach Debbie please email us at

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
