Ella was surrendered to the shelter as a “stray” but it was clear that she was someone’s pet. She was friendly and not at all dirty nor evidence of fleas. British shorthair cats are known to be calm, easy-going reserved cats. But once they know you, they are affectionate with the humans they own. They get along fine with other respectable cats and are not fond of being picked up. These are sturdy, short, teddy bear cats with a dense coat and big round eyes.
Ella is a beautiful tabby girl. Although she does not like to be picked up, she does come to you for pets and she purrs away. She loves to be brushed. She jumps on the bed and likes to lay beside me. Ella will most likely be ok with other cats in the home as long as they give her her space and with proper introduction. She will be best with older children that will respect her independence. She loves drinking from a kitty water fountain. She seems to prefer dry food or can kitty tuna. She has perfect litter box habits. Over all she is a very easy going, laid back kitty. Will you be the one to give her her forever home?
Ella will come to you fully vetted, dewormed, microchipped and spayed.
