About Corri

Born ~5/1/17, F, Bronze Spotted Egyptian Mau Mix

Here is the fourth and last of the Egyptian Mau mix kittens. Corri would make a good partner with her brother Keegan. She is a beautiful kitty. Right now she is in a very coltish stage. Like her brother, she is all long body and long legs. Look how long her tail is! She is full of personality. Sometimes she looks very composed and regal. Other times she looks soft and cuddly. Other times she looks curious and watchful. Still other times she looks like a fierce hunter as she pulls very hard on a feather. She is a fascinating kitten.

Keegan and Corri are both athletic play monsters. Look how hard Corri is pulling on the peacock feather, feet braced toes spread, putting everything into it. Like Keegan she loves to run. She sort of lopes with large steps. Egyptian Mau’s are actually the fastest runners of any breed in the domestic cat world; some have reached speeds of 30 mph. Maus have eyes that are generally a green color as you can see in the two last internet photos of Maus which I included at the bottom of Keegan ’s photos (see his bio) . Mau kitten eyes actually often change color as they become mature adults, most turning a green color. Egyptian Maus are good, loyal family cats. They are a highly intelligent, forever playful and an unusually healthy breed.

Corri came to me from a friend who has already brought me Keegan and two other Egyptian Mau mix kittens. (Guinness and Maggie, both adopted) There is talk of a not-neutered Egyptian Mau male out in their neighborhood. I have included, at the bottom of Keegan’s bio, some photos of Egyptian Maus from the internet for comparison. Corri looks like a Mau mix kitten but, as is often the case, we cannot know for sure. Keegan and Corri are certainly beautiful, healthy happy loving kittens. Some family will be so lucky. Corri would love to go home with Keegan as a first choice, or if that is not possible with another active playful kitten.

Corri eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or email toharrietjane@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
