Chloe is an exquisite purebred Blue Mitted Ragdoll. Here is what her owner says about her:
“She enjoys following her chosen person from room to room and will lay next to or by your feet. She is not a lap cat, but does like to be under blankets and covers for some period of time and this is a way to get her to lay on you if desired, She enjoys playing and hiding in boxes or cat tunnels. She chases springs, balls and mice toys. She likes dancer toys but care and supervision is needed to assure she does not eat the string or ribbons. She has a scissor type bite and she snips string with a single bite!
I believe Chloe would benefit from being in a large spacious home with lots of window perches to enjoy looking outdoors. She is very social, so someone who works from home or part time would be best. She has been left alone for weekends with cat sitter 1-2x/day and does well but definitely misses her people. She has never been with another cat, she might benefit from being with a cat friendly one to help prevent boredom and loneliness.
She tolerates children but they stress her out when not respectful of boundaries. She has scratched our younger children. A home with older children or no children would be best. She shows more of a liking towards myself rather than my husband despite his love of cats and his efforts to win her over. “
Ragdolls require daily brushing and sanitary trims for good hygiene and Chloe is good with this. She is accustomed to a top entry litter box and Original Pine cat litter and is litter box perfect
Chloe has a regular am & pm feeding schedule of Instinct Chicken Pate and Vital Instincts dried chicken sprinkles and also 1/2 cup of Fresh is Best Chicken with her p.m. meal. Chloe is insistent on having the dried chicken sprinkles and will reach out for the back of her owner’s legs and sometimes nip to get attention for them. She needs patience and consistency in redirecting this behavior.
Chloe hides from strangers and is shy at first until she becomes confident with new people. She will require someone who is willing to patiently wait for her to come out of her shell (which may take some time), before she reveals her affectionate, social, playful personality.
Chloe needs some one with Ragdoll experience, that is patient with shyness, and her inappropriate attention getting behavior. A reward awaits with love, playful companionship and of course her gobsmacking beauty!
Chloe is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her owner in Benecia.
